Ahiflower® Oil is a proprietary form of refined Buglossoides arvensis seed oil, which is the most complete and balanced source of omega-3, omega-6 and omega-9 fatty acids from a single non-GMO plant.
Ahiflower® Oil has the highest naturally occurring levels of stearidonic acid (SDA) at ~20% and is the richest omega-3-6-9 oil (>85%), including good levels of anti inflammatory GLA. Providing the parent oils ALA, LA and SDA, which can then be metabolized through a series of desaturation and elongation steps into EPA and DHA, depending on the body’s needs at the time.
