Pro Thyroid contains all of the necessary nutrients for optimal thyroid function along with Ayurvedic herbs to enhance its activity.
Pro Thyroid assists in both the production of thyroid hormones and the conversion of inactive T4 hormones into the active T3 hormone. It contains nutrients and herbs that help prevent and reverse thyroid insufficiency including tyrosine, iodine and the botanical herbs Coleus forskohlii and Bacopa monnieri. Tyrosine and iodine are the building blocks of thyroid hormones T3 and T4. Zinc helps support the conversion of T4 to T3, while selenium can help decrease anti-TPO antibodies.
Adult Dosage:
Take one capsule three times daily with food, or as directed by a qualified health care practitioner. Take a few hours before or after taking other medications.
Cautions:
Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. May cause gastrointestinal disturbances such as epigastric burning sensation and nausea. Discontinue use if rash develops. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are following a low protein diet or for use beyond four weeks. This product contains a corn derived ingredient; do not use this product if you have an allergy.
